St. Marys letter sizeThis August Jacob Connealy, class of ’07 and Will Targy, class of ’00, both St. Mary’s School graduates will start their seminary studies for the Archdiocese of Omaha at Kenrick-Glennon in St. Louis.  Will says, “It's incredibly exciting to have the two of us entering together and representing St. Mary's! Jake and I have a spaghetti feed fundraiser on Sunday, July 8th in the St. Mary's Parish Center. We'd love to have you join us! It'll go from 1:30 P.M. - 6:30 P.M.”  Vino Mas letter sizeWill will have another fundraiser Tuesday, July 24th at Vino Mas, a wine bar in West Omaha.  Additionally, there is an online donation site if you'd like to contribute.

We hope you will be able to join us this Sunday, and send God’s blessings to these two men who are representing St. Mary’s as seminarians!

Anou Akot, Baylin Davis, Maureen Goetz, Theodosia Mba and Macey McGargill received First Honors and Sena Djidjoho, Madison Kimsey, Lia Rose Reckmeyer and Therese Ruff received Second Honors. At Duchesne Academy Cate Lillion received Highest Honors and Mary Jane DuGuay received Honors. At Marian honors go to Gillian Krueger. At Creighton Prep Second Honors go to John Patrick Donahue IV, Fredy Gnambi Kadjo and Ethan Michael Yale. At Daniel J. Gross 10 alumni were on the Honor Roll. These students earned a 3.25 GPA or greater for the 4th quarter. They include: Lucia Mansisidor, Lauren Schmitz, Jaycee Billings, Callie Billings, Maggie Heltzel, Kathryn Goetz, Jamie Legner, Jacob Goetz, Kellie Halliburton and Rebecca Schaffart. Congratulations on your academic success!

St. Mary's Catholic School is a Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade School of the Archdiocese of Omaha. Our mission is to provide a Catholic education that nurtures students' hearts and minds to become servant leaders in an ever-changing world.

Our philosophy of education is to offer a five-day program to assist families in teaching those truths, skills, and ideals, which are necessary for Christian living. We believe that education must develop the faculties and abilities of the whole child: spiritually, intellectually, physically, and emotionally. To help achieve this, our faculty and staff are an integral part of the formation of Christian community and dedicate themselves to the task of developing Christian citizens.
