The Pre-K classroom was a very busy group this spring. They studied the many changes in nature that the spring season brings to their world. They learned about the life cycle of plants and studied how stems feed the plants. After many experiments and observation, they planted and grew their own sunflower plants to take home to their own gardens. The Plant unit came to an end and the class celebrated the wonders of spring, as they created and retold the wonderful story about how God recreates the world each year as the plants are reborn in gardens. The children portrayed characters found in nature to tell the Spring Program story of the wonders of life all around us. They had their families and the rest of the St. Mary's students watching. They did a wonderful job singing and retelling their story. For more photos click here.
