St. Mary’s alumna, Maya Lewis, class of ’13 receives Gross Catholic High School’s highest academic award upon graduation. The Ortman Scholar Award is the highest academic award given to a graduating senior who has achieved academic excellence by attaining a cumulative grade point average of 4.0 or higher. The Ortman Scholar Award is named for the school’s founding donor, Mrs. Louise Ortman Gross, wife of Mr. Daniel J. Gross. Maya will be starting college this fall at the College of St. Mary where she will be pursuing a degree in Occupational Therapy. Maya Lewis is in the front row, second from the right!
