At St. Mary’s we love tradition and during Catholic Schools Week nothing lives up to the sheer excitement of the 8th grade students taking on the staff and faculty on the volleyball court. If the school has a noise level indicator, it would have burst as the Pre-K through 7th grade students cheered loudly point after point for the games. Perhaps that’s why Fr. Del poked his head into the gym. Could he have heard them from the rectory? There were three thrilling throw downs. The teachers and staff took the first game and the students came roaring back pulling off a close win in the second. With little time left the teachers and staff won the third 15-13 taking the match. This is a great tradition that continues to bring out school spirit! For more photos click here.
