Catholic Schools Week is a great time to see who we are, collectively as a school, and individually. We have fun, we challenge ourselves mentally, physically and spiritually and we do acts of kindness for others. One activity during this week included collecting canned goods for the food bank. The cans served a dual purpose this year. First, they were used to form bowling lanes for “Souper Bowling” and then were taken to the food bank to feed the hungry. Thank you to the generosity of the families who sent food. The 5th grade helped load the ten boxes of food items that were delivered to the food bank. The buddy classes took turns bowling and got some extra exercise lining up the pins. A sure winner that is bound to be repeated next year.
