Catholic Schools Week kicked off with a pancake breakfast and this years was a success. Not only were there lots of family members there with grandparents included, but Home and School raised $973 dollars from donations of generous parishioners. After paying expenses for the breakfast H&S should net around $600 dollars. That money will go into a revenue pool that helps fund many school related projects or events including: School programs (Fields Trips, Art, Budding Botanist, Geography Bee, Library, Music, P.E., Software/Technology, Spanish, Student Council, Teacher Start-Up Money), Capital needs (Carpet), Scholarships, Sports, School Social Events (Ice Cream Social, Halloween Fun Night, Talent Show, 2nd/8th grade reception, 7th/8th grade banquet, 8th grade graduation, Catholic Schools Week, Field Day, Veterans Day Assembly), Promotional Events (Parades), Teacher Support (Christmas Gifts, Appreciation Day and Milestone Parties) Adopt-a-Student and School Clean-Up. Thank you all for your continued support of St. Mary’s School. We hope to see you next year for more pancakes and sausage.
