Who would have guessed that wearing jeans could do so much good? For the 4th year in a row St. Mary’s staff has been raising funds to support others. Teachers have the option to wear jeans on Thursdays and donate $3.00. The money is collected and kept until Christmas and then the teachers decide whom to give the funds to as a Christmas donation. This year they raised enough money to give a $300 donation to a family in need and $740 to Mater Filius of Nebraska. Mater Filius is a Catholic home for women faced with a crisis pregnancy. One staff member also donated a new set of pots and pans to Mater Filius. What a wonderful way to show our service to others!
