Students at St. Mary’s Catholic School celebrated the living rosary on the Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary. For those unfamiliar with this tradition, a living rosary occurs when people are used to represent each bead of the rosary. Parents were invited to participate as the students either stood as a bead or part of the assembly praying. All students in the activity council participated and then students from 2nd through 8th grade were added. Each student led a prayer with the entire student body finishing each prayer. Miss Sheridan, said, "The students were prayerful throughout and it was a beautiful way to honor the Blessed Mother. "Dr. Wallinger said, “The rosary is a beautiful prayer that tells the story of Jesus’ life. When you look at all of the ministries and reflect on his life and sacrifices, it's very humbling. What a great way for our faith community to pray.” For more photos click here.
