When the saints go marching we can be inspired by the stories of their lives and their faithfulness to God. During October first graders were given a special project to work on with their families. Each student was asked to research the life of their patron saint or another saint of their choosing. In order to share what the students had learned each was asked to write a report about the life of their saint, including ideas of ways that the student would like to be like their saint. On November 3rd, students came to school dressed as the saint. The students delivered their reports and then visited the other classrooms where the rest of the student body joined in singing, "Oh, When The Saints Go Marching In". The students were very proud and happy to share all that they learned about St. Francis of Assisi, St. Matthew, St. Patrick, St. Paul, St. John Bosco, St. Nicholas, St. James, St. Lucy, St. Anne, St. Martin de Porres, St. Isaac Jogues, St. Hannah, St. Herman, St. John, St. Kateri, St. Cecelia, and St. Anthony.
