Bella, like the rest of her 7th grade Science class, is learning all about plant and animal cells and viruses. They were tasked to create a 3 D model of an animal cell. Bella's creation involved cake and lots of icing. The teacher's rubric, or requirements included: being round or spherical, naming nine organelles such as the cytoplasm and mitochondria, using a key or labels, be neat and visually appealing. Bella's creative masterpiece, which included culinary skills, earned her the highest grade possible, 100%. Not only did it meet all the visual requirements it was appetizing too! Who knew Science could be so much fun! For other projects click here.
