It was easy for St. Mary's students to get caught up in the excitement of the annual school Field Day. As is our long-standing tradition, 8th grade students, along with parent support host a variety of games, races and activities. One 8th grader shared, "It was a great way to conclude our time at the school: helping, leading, and having fun." There was a lot of energy as students cheered each other on during relay races, water balloon tosses, and chicken relays. Mrs. Hug, our physical education teacher coordinated the end-of-the-year tradition for the students. “They love it. It presents an opportunity for camaraderie and highlights school spirit,” Hug said. “All year long, we incorporate in our lessons teamwork. Now, at the end of the year, we have teams working together. The event also creates lasting memories." Click here to see more than 50 photos from this year's Field Day!
