What makes St. Mary's special! People like Kathy McMaster who has been coming to school every Thursday for the past 15 years to volunteer in the lunchroom. Kathy has been through many lunch directors and has outlasted them all. She was there to see her three children go through school, her last one, Ryan, graduates this year, as well as her three nieces and nephews. Becky Billings, our current lunch director says, "What a wonderful tribute to St. Mary's to have such a dedicated parent. It is people like this that our kids can look up to and understand what true volunteering means. Thanks Kathy for all your years of service! We will miss you." Becky says people ask her, "How does St. Mary's operate?" She says, "It works because of the hard work of volunteers." Her lunchroom only runs because of all of the volunteers, parents and grandparents who help serve lunch and clean up every day. Some come monthly, weekly and some twice a week. It is your devotion to the school like Kathy that makes a difference for the children and the school.
