Middle school students have been hands on in the lab. The 6th graders worked on simple machine kits that were purchased last year with the money from home and school. Some of the students took it a little farther and built their own creations. The 6th graders also tackled building bridges out of toothpicks. It's amazing what you can do with sticks and glue. The 7th grade science class was treated to a special biology class when St Mary's parent, Tina Tweedy, a beekeeper, came to teach them about bees and their role in pollination during our plant unit. Exciting things are going on in the Science lab. For more photos click here.
