The Uniform Assistance Program at St. Mary's is one area where our school excels. It has become a huge success over the years. Some may say, too successful, as many donations continue to add to our current inventory. Donations as well as uniform needs can be met at any time thanks to the many contributions from our school families.
Moving these donations had become a huge challenge. This is where Ken Wessling a '53 graduate of St. Mary's came into the picture. Along with his son Willie Wessling, St. Mary's graduate, class of '84, they constructed a large, sturdy clothing rack to accommodate the many skirts and skorts in our inventory.
After our latest registration day, the rack proved to be an incredible addition to our program. Moving the clothing from its storage room to the gym was much easier. Parents were easily able to access sizes needed from the rack. Community is what makes St. Mary's such a wonderful place and members like Ken and Willie Wessling are true examples of how rich our community truly is. Thank you Ken and Willie!
