St. Nick Visits St. Mary’s Classrooms

StNick1The fourth grade boys dressed up as St. Nick and delivered some good cheer and treats to the school teachers, aides and the office in honor of his feast day. Legend has it that a poor man needed money for his daughter's dowry. St. Nick found out and threw a bag of gold through an open window. St. Nick did this for all 3 of the man's daughters. The fourth graders also colored paper shoes and stapled them together so that they would hold some candy. They secretly put them onto their kindergarten buddies' desks when the kindergarteners were not in their room. The kindergartners did the same to the fourth graders when they were out of their room. The spirit of Christmas was all around us. For another photo click here.
