Christmas traditions abound. The fourth grade girls dressed up as St. Lucy in honor of her upcoming feast day. It is a custom in Sweden that a girl in the family dresses up in a white dress with a red sash, wears a head wreath, and gives rolls and cookies to the family. Parents made treats, and the girls made their head wreaths for this special occasion. The girls then delivered goodies to the teachers and the office. For another photo click here.
