On October 22, the Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade classes enjoyed a field trip to the Lauritzen Gardens. What a beautiful day to tour the gardens and the new conservatory! The students learned about plants like the mum that enjoy the cooler fall weather. We also learned that not all birds migrate so we need to help them find food in the winter. Students made a nature ornament to hang in their backyard. We really liked touring the new conservatory and enjoyed the orchids and other beautiful flowers. We learned so many things and were so happy to be out enjoying the wonders of God' world. A big thanks to Lauritzen Gardens for the bus scholarship!
