The sixth grade class annually re-enacts the Living Stations of the Cross during Holy Week. This event has become a highlight of Holy Week concluding the school's Lenten prayer services. All students are given narrator parts excluding those who portray Jesus and His Blessed Mother. Individual roles are determined by Mrs. Shanker after close scrutiny of behavior and deep prayer to the Holy Spirit. As the students take on the various roles, a true sense of reverence takes over the class. The end result is a living prayer about Jesus to Jesus from us, the sixth grade. For more photos click here.
