St. Mary's Cub Scouts helped the Catholic Daughters by bringing smiles and fruit trays to some elderly homebound people in the parish and Bellevue area. Fifty trays were divided and delivered by the Eucharistic Ministers, and the Scouts. The Morales', the Tweedy's, the Miller's, the Storches and the Wilwerding's split the 25 trays and delivered them the weekend before Thanksgiving. Kati Wilwerding says, "The Catholic Daughters sent us their appreciation but the best appreciation was seeing the people who received the trays--they hugged Sam (her son) and just loved that they were thought of. It's a great lesson for these boys to see what a small thing can mean to someone who has very little or access to the outside."
