The Christmas Program this year was "Christmas Around the World." The students in grades 1 through 5 sang songs from The United States, England, France, Germany, Austria, Puerto Rico, Spain, Canada, the West Indies, and West Africa. It was a great celebration of many cultures, and it was astonishing to learn how much we all share in common at Christmas. The students all dressed in traditional Christmas clothing with many in cultural dress from their family's country of origin. After the program we all enjoyed an abundance of goodies from many lands (provided by parents and families). It was a delicious evening in more ways than one! Thank you to all who helped to make it a great evening: teachers, parents and guests. Special thanks to Tomas Morales for the percussion he added and Mrs. Menzel for her fabulous accompaniment on the piano. Miss Kallman was given some Charlie Brown plush characters as a thank you from the students. She was a camp counselor years ago and her nickname was Woodstock.
