The Christmas tradition of dressing up as St. Lucy on her feast day, December 13th lives on. The 4th grade girls dressed up in the traditional Swedish white dress with a red sash and wreath of candles on their heads, and delivered homemade cookies to the school's teachers and staff. St. Lucy, the martyred Saint who fed the poor is the patron Saint of the blind. She shines her light on the shortest day of the year. Her day marks the end of darkness as each new day brings more light. For more photos click here.
