For a third year in a row, Bill Randby, KETV Channel 7 Chief Meteorologist in Omaha, visited St. Mary's 3rd and 4th graders to talk about his favorite subject: the weather. Both classes are studying weather and what a magnificent weather day it was! Mr. Randby's power point presentation covered everything from the atmosphere to tornadoes and was highlighted by his fascinating air pressure experiment and pop bottle "tornado". Everyone put on their "Science glasses" and enjoyed Mr. Randby's oversized sunglasses when he talked about the sun. The glasses reminded everyone to protect their eyes from bright sunlight. Thank you Mr. Randby for another great lesson on something that affects us all daily; the weather! For more photos click here.
