TSgt Tomas Morales gave his children the shock of their lives. He surprised Vincent and Rosy by greeting them at St. Mary's School as he returned home from Afghanistan. The Air Force weatherman had spent 6 ½ months forecasting the weather and helping troops carry out their missions. Now, his mission was "coming home." With a free shower from a Hotel in Baltimore, he was able to get "cleaned up to greet his wife" for his homecoming and was even able to catch an earlier flight than expected. This unexpected arrival threw a slight wrench in his wife, Jennifer's, plans. She had a remodeled garage as a surprise awaiting him, and had to get 3-year-old Gian off to his first day of pre-school, the day of his Daddy's arrival. For their two children at St. Mary's this was one day they won't forget. The day their Daddy came walking through their classroom door, arms wide open to give them a hug. A hug they'd been waiting over 6 months to feel. Everyone had tears of joy including the teachers. Welcome home TSgt Morales and thank you for your service.
