Kindergarten Science Labs

No matter the age, reptiles are exciting especially when you get to pet them. clizard2That's exactly what happened in Mrs. Middendorf's class when her sister Traci Wells brought her pet bearded dragon in for a lesson on lizards. The kids learned a lot, loved petting the lizards and even made some of their own. They are also learning about absorption. A fun science experiment using water, food coloring, and paper towels helped show how the water will travel up the paper towel and into the other cup. The students observed and made predictions about what would happen when we put yellow in one cup and blue in the other. They were excited to see how the middle cup turned green!
