Program a robot to travel 5 feet, turn 180 degrees, and return to its start position. A task more difficult than it sounds! That was the first program; St. Mary's STEM students performed using their new CEENBoT robots and CEENBot Commander Programming, its drag and drop-programming interface. Using the Engineer Design process students were also able to modify the robot to pop a balloon taped to the floor. That was quite the project with several ideas on the best solution. Thank you to the Greater Omaha Chapter Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association for the grant that purchased the bots and inspired young minds to achieve their given tasks.
