Going for a World Record

All of St. Mary's students take part in helping the Speedstacking Association break a Guiness World Record. The association is trying to break a record for the most people doing cup stacking on a single day.

In PE class November 17th every student participated in races, fitness activities and games using the cup stacks. Mrs. Hug, St. Mary's PE teacher says, "Most of the students are really enjoying the cupstacking unit. She adds, cupstacking helps build up a student's ambidexterity, speed, cognitive abilities and confidence. The school received a loaner pack of 30 cups to take part in setting the record. Take a look at St. Mary's students cupstacking in our photo gallery under events.
