At the first All School Mass students already "buddied" up. That’s where the older students sit next to the younger ones to help "manage" and "teach" them proper church behavior. This is a great opportunity for students to learn from each other, as the older students, especially those without younger siblings, have to learn and maintain patience and understanding when it comes to little ones. When the kindergarten teacher had to unexpectedly leave Mass to help a child, a 4th grader stepped right up and sat in her place between two boys one of them a “little talker”. The “little talker” quit talking and hugged the 4th graders arm.
