Hailey Boland

Administrative Assistant 2019-2021


Mrs. Hailey Boland was St. Mary's School Secretary from 2019 to 2021. Mrs. Boland is originally from Washington state and lived in Texas before joining our Bellevue community. She attended St. Martin's University in Washington at which she received her Bachelor's of Arts in Business Administration. She and her husband, Bruce, have three children: June, Henry, and Emmylou - all of whom are students at St. Mary's. In her free time, Mrs. Boland enjoys playing with her dog Tex, cooking & baking, sewing, taking road trips, working on DIY projects, and, of course, spending time with her family! 







Cathy Braxton

Administrative Assistant  2015 - 2019

BraxtonCathy Braxton has been a member of St Mary's parish since 2012 when her family relocated to Nebraska from California. She and her husband, Deacon Jeff Braxton, have 4 children, Anna Grace, Joshua, Caleb, and Katie - all of whom attended St. Mary's School. She has 15+ years experience in the areas of office management and human resources and is a paralegal by trade. She is a former Air Force Personnel Officer, which is where she met her husband. Cathy always seeks out positions where she can experience her faith in the workplace.






Cheryl Castle

Principal 2009 - 2015

Mrs. Cheryl Castle has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Education, a Master's of Science Degree in Education-Elementary Education, and a Master's of Arts in Educational Administration. Her certificates are for teaching K-6/8 and Principal K-6/8. Mrs. Castle's experience includes 17 years of teaching at the elementary level and 16 years as principal. She has taught Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades. She was also principal at St. John the Apostle School in Lincoln for 5 years and principal at Assumption-Guadalupe School for 5 years before coming to St. Mary's. As principal, her focus is on instruction and curriculum. "Curriculum and instruction is very exciting at this time, as many changes are occurring to prepare our current students for the 21st Century. The best thing about being principal in a Catholic school is that faith is an integral part of what we do every day. Faith will guide all of us, as we are teaching and learning to live in the global society of the future."

Linda Maiefski

MaiefskiAdministrative Assistant 2011 - 2015

Mrs. Linda Maiefski is a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. She has been married to her husband, Larry, for 33 years. Together they have two children: Mark and Raluca. Mrs. Maiefski has a Rat Terrier named Sparky, who acts just like his name! In her free time she enjoys walking, crafts, baking, puzzles, traveling, and being with family and friends.

St. Mary's Catholic School is a Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade School of the Archdiocese of Omaha. Our mission is to provide a Catholic education that nurtures students' hearts and minds to become servant leaders in an ever-changing world.

Our philosophy of education is to offer a five-day program to assist families in teaching those truths, skills, and ideals, which are necessary for Christian living. We believe that education must develop the faculties and abilities of the whole child: spiritually, intellectually, physically, and emotionally. To help achieve this, our faculty and staff are an integral part of the formation of Christian community and dedicate themselves to the task of developing Christian citizens.
