Mrs. Mary Pat Harms has been involved with preschool programs for the past fifteen years. She worked in preschool programs in Ohio for eleven years before moving to Omaha four years ago with her family. Most recently, she worked at the St. Vincent de Paul preschool. Mrs. Harms has been the Pre-Kindergarten teacher at St. Mary’s School for four years. She holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education K-8. Her husband's name is Mike and they have two adult children - Evan and Elizabeth. When Mrs. Harms has free time she enjoys gardening, long walks with her dog, traveling, and discovering new things around Omaha. She shares with us, “St. Mary’s has become a new home for me, since I live away from many family members and our children. I feel a sense of spirituality and commitment to teaching that inspires me and helps feed my love of teaching. The teachers and the staff here are among the best people I have ever worked with in all my years of teaching. I am able to nourish and grow in my own faith as I work with the littlest people in our school. I find great support and friendship here.”
