St. Mary’s Catholic Elementary School
We commit ourselves to educating every child through the use of a challenging, well-rounded, standards-based curriculum enhanced by open communication.
Each student is recognized as a unique gift from God and is encouraged to become an integral part of our global community.
Keeping before us the teachings of Jesus, we accept God's invitation to create a spiritually nourishing Catholic environment.
We welcome families of all faiths and admit students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
A Note from the Nurse
We understand that everyone is busy and we are all tired of COVID and its restrictions. However, we are only going to be able to sustain the in-person model if we all do what we can to keep COVID at bay. Please continue to monitor your children for any signs or symptoms and keep them home if there has been an exposure.
Children's Hospital and Medical Center has set up a COVID help line to assist the community during this time. If your student is not feeling well and you are unsure if he or she needs to be tested for COVID with the symptoms they are exhibiting, you can call the help line at 402-955-3200.
Beginning Monday, November 2nd we will no longer check temperatures in the drop-off line. Parents will be responsible for taking their children's temperatures at home and continue filling out the Daily Health Questionnaire every morning. Student temperatures will now be taken by the staff at midday.
Drop-off time is from 7:30-7:50am. Please make sure your students are ready to get out of the car with all of their items so we can keep the traffic to a minimum. We will also be reducing traffic lanes to two in the morning.
Please remember if you arrive at 7:50am, to pull up to the loading zone on Clay St. and call the office. A staff member will then come to the Clay St. doors to let the student into the building. Parking lot staff will not be monitoring the gym door after 7:50am.
We are running out of extra masks! If you are interested in making masks to donate to the school, please contact the office at 402-291-1694 and we can get a pack of supplies sent home to you.
We are in need of masks that fit children ages 6-10 and 11-13. We greatly appreciate your time and support.
Parents, we ask that you please make sure your student has their mask before they arrive at school. Thank you!
Extended Day Phone Number Clarification

Oh What a Night!
St. Mary's 26th annual Spring for the Children Benefit Auction was held on March 21st, 2020 completely online in order to follow social distancing due to COVID-19. While this year's Benefit Auction was a little different than previous years, it was still a great success. We raised a net revenue of $59,055.03 - more than half of last year's revenue! That included raising $21,055 for the Fill-A-Need indoor/outdoor security camera system. This wouldn't have been possible without our amazing school families and parishioners, so we want to thank you all for supporting St. Mary's School during this difficult time. Congratulations to Jennifer and Chris Kreps, winners of the 2020 Heart of Mary Award! God bless and we look forward to seeing you all next year! For more photos click here.
